  About Meals on Wheels of the Monterey Peninsula Community Center

Since 1972, MOWMP has delivered healthy nutrition to the homebound. The agency offers senior services through its Home Delivered and Group Dining programs and at the Meals on Wheels Community Center in Pacific Grove. MOWMP is guided by the belief that a person's health reflects the nurturing of the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. Its programs are dedicated to promoting the physical, social, and personal well-being and independence of seniors, disabled adults, and veterans, in our region.

Meals on Wheels will continue to celebrate our 50^th Anniversary all year and would like to invite the public back into the newly named Meals on Wheels Community Center (formally the Sally Griffith Active Senior Center).  We have made many updates while the building was closed during COVID, including new paint and flooring, updated restrooms, front and back garden updates and installations of solar panels and an air filtration system.

• A buffet of appetizers from around the world and featuring local seafood
• Wine provided by Scheid Family Wines and beer
• Live music provided by the Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce
• Raffle and staff-led building tours
