Rolling Stone Reports: The Millennial Identity

What defines a millennial? They've been called "Generation Me" for presumed narcissism and the "Peter Pan Generation" for delayed adulthood. But the only thing that may really define a millennial is that they're indefinable. People born between 1980 and 1995 have had their lives marked by some of the fastest-moving shifts in the world's economy, political landscape and culture. From Bernie Sanders to Beyoncé, we discuss the crucial moments, artists, events, movements and more that have helped form the millennial identity.

Rolling Stone Reports features the writers and editors of Rolling Stone bringing their thought provoking and engaging content to audiences in the form of live storytelling and visual media. These live events will include the most culturally significant topics of the 20th and 21st centuries and will reflect the rock-and-roll vibe of the leading voice in music and popular culture that is Rolling Stone.
